About ACE-031
ACE-031 consists of the extracellular domain of activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) fused to the Fc region of human immunoglobulin G1. Instead of signaling, the soluble receptor binds circulating ligands, among them myostatin (GDF-8), activins and GDF-11, and keeps them away from cell-surface receptors.
As a glycosylated fusion protein, ACE-031 is far larger than the peptides in this catalog, and its identity and activity are characterized with protein methods.
